Basic and Prerequisite Skills Requirements Each business program applicant must demonstrate proficiency in basic and prerequisite skills. This must be evidenced in any of the following ways: Submission of ACT or SAT examination scores deemed appropriate by DeVry. Attainment of acceptable scores on DeVry-administered placement examinations in reading, writing, arithmetic, and elementary algebra. Submission or required documentation indicating acceptable grades in qualifying college-level work completed at an approved post-secondary institution. Twenty-four qualifying associatedegreeerafting semester credit hours (or the equivalent) in which the language of instruction was English, and including at least three semester credit associatedegreeerafting hours in English composition, demonstrate proficiency in language skills.
